Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen activities, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service delivery
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency in seafood dishes
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste and control costs
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity
- Train, develop, and motivate staff members on food handling, customer service excellence, safety protocols, and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes across all areas of the restaurant
- Handle shift management duties including scheduling staff shifts, supervising performance, conducting interviews, and addressing customer concerns promptly
- Implement budgeting strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate catering events or banquet services when applicable to expand restaurant offerings
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management with a focus on seafood or quick service & fast food environments
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within the food industry
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development in hospitality or culinary settings
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations
- Experience managing budgets, inventory control, and food production processes
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in shift management and operational oversight
