Freelance Venue Event Attendant-
WEEKEND availabilty - Shifts available FRI- SAT & OCCASIONAL SUNDAYS
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Freelance Venue Event Attendant to join our event team at weddings and special events.
This is a hands-on hospitality role for someone who enjoys being part of the action and helping create an incredible experience for our couples and their guests. You’ll assist wherever needed throughout the day — from preparing the venue and helping with décor to welcoming guests, supporting the bridal party, serving bridal brunch and beverages, keeping spaces clean and organized, and making sure everyone feels genuinely cared for.
Our ideal team member is someone who notices what needs to be done and jumps in with a smile. You’ll help keep the event flowing smoothly while providing the warm, attentive hospitality that makes our venue special.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude
- Assist with venue setup and event preparation
- Help set up and arrange client décor, signage, tables, personal items, and event details
- Assist with bridal suite setup and bridal brunch service
- Prepare and serve mimosas, beverages, and light food displays
- Help keep bridal suites, guest areas, bathrooms, and common spaces clean, tidy, and welcoming throughout the event
- Assist with resetting spaces, cleaning, and light breakdown at the end of events
- Support the bridal party and families with anything they may need throughout the day
- Help guests find their way and answer questions with a helpful, positive attitude
- Monitor event spaces and proactively address anything that needs attention
- Assist with beverage preparation, stocking, and maintaining service areas
- Help ensure tables, outdoor areas, porches, and guest spaces remain clean and presentable
- Work alongside the venue team, caterers, planners, and other event vendors as needed
- Step in wherever needed to help the event run smoothly and make our couples and guests feel catered to
- Represent Founders Grove with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality

- Comfortable with cleaning, organizing, lifting, standing, and working outdoors
- Hospitality, restaurant, event, or customer service experience is a plus
- Must be comfortable working weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays
- Ability to maintain a calm, helpful attitude even during busy events
