American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU (WICU) position at a large academic medical center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Surgical ICU experience and a MD or compact RN license.

Work in the Weinberg Surgical ICU (WICU), a 20-bed adult unit within the Department of Surgery
-
Diverse surgical patient population including Trauma, GI Surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine, Transplant, Vascular, Surgical ENT, and General Surgery

Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

Floating required to areas of like skill set as needed

Epic EMR — prior experience preferred

Active MD or compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required

ACLS certification preferred

Critical Care Certification preferred

Minimum 2 years of current, strong Surgical ICU experience required

Experience in a large hospital (500+ bed facility) required
-
Trauma course completion preferred

At least 2 prior travel assignments preferred

SSN and DOB required for consideration

1 professional reference required for consideration

Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month

Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
