Duties
- Stock, set up and clean the kitchen stations
- Prepare ingredients for the daily shift
- Cook and plate prepared foods based on company recipes and standards
- Work with cashiers to ensure that orders are completed according to requests and on time
- Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Clean dishes, utensils and equipment throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Prior cooking experience is helpful but not necessary
- Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team
- Strong organization and active listening skills
- The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time
- Exceptional time management skills
- Possess a Food Handler Permit or obtain one within 10 days of employment (Paid for by 287 Taco Shop)
Expected Salary: $10 - $14 per hour depending on experience, plus a share of weekly tips
