We are seeking an individual to provide respite for a preschool-age child in the Boyceville, WI area. This girl loves the playground, story time at the library, the waterpark (1:1 assistance), the farmers market, and learning new things! Respite care will be conducted in the child's home. Community outings are also encouraged.
Pay:
Schedule:
- 12 hours per month.
- Flexible scheduling
- Shifts can vary - mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- Schedule to be determined between provider and managing party
Tasks:
- Supervision and safety
- Active attentiveness
- Toileting (pull-ups/potty training)
- Meal Prep (snack time)
- Activities of daily living assistance
- Build confidence and independence
- Companionship and social engagement
- Provide transportation to/from activities
Qualifications:
- Authorized to work in the U.S
- Criminal/Caregiver background check
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required
- Knowledgeable in outpatient therapy and speech therapy
- Someone who is knowledgeable in Down Syndrome or Developmental Disabilities
