Responsibilities

- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to ensure product availability and presentation standards.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new employees to build a high-performing team aligned with company goals.
- Implement employee orientation programs and conduct ongoing training & development initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare budgets, and manage store expenses to meet financial objectives.
- Supervise shift management, scheduling, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Utilize management skills to handle customer inquiries, resolve conflicts promptly, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
- Coordinate marketing efforts within the store to promote products and special offers effectively.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, payroll processing, and inventory reports for operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven retail management experience with a strong background in sales team leadership and operational oversight.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, stock control, and administrative tasks.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of employees; supervisory experience is essential.
- Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, pricing strategies, and marketing fundamentals.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Basic understanding of budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and operational management practices within retail settings.
