Job Description: IT/AV Technician
NOTE: Must be willing to work onsite
Location: Seattle
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, 32 plus hours per week
Job Responsibilities:
IT Escalations
- Basic PC, Mac, and Phone troubleshooting knowledge. These candidates will cover the on-site desks and provide “Tier 1” support, triage, etc. and escalate as necessary.
- End-user hardware and software troubleshooting
- Windows OS, Apple OS X, Chrome OS (Chromebooks), iOS, Android
- Zoom, Google Suite, Google Meet, Google Slides, Keynote, Jamf
- Monitor and accessory deployment/collection.
- Imaging/Provisioning Laptops/Workstations (not 100% required)
- Face-to-face support experience. Working with end users to solve IT problems.
- Laptop & mobile device deployments
- Upgrading broken devices or any damaged devices
- Workstation Sweeps - Resetting monitors on a weekly basis
- Ensure workstation monitors are functioning along with peripherals
- Inventory and counts of all peripherals, computers, printer toners, accessories, and any misc. assets
- Maintain Storage room assets and counts
- Interfacing with users to troubleshoot software issues
- Printer management and preventative maintenance
- E-waste
- Wipe all devices before e-wasting
AV
- Onsite audio video technician to support but not limited to equipment removal/replacement, cable management, and initial troubleshooting/break-fix
- Conference preventative maintenance checks and regular testing of in-room equipment
- Ensuring that video, audio, and room peripherals are working as intended
- Work hand-in-hand with team members and administrative staff to arrange and configure conference rooms.
- Ensuring that the conference room and office user experience are excellent.
- Reporting metrics and progress/higher level trends on equipment health/wear and tear.
- Kick off for tier 1 AV events including equipment set up and drop off/pick ups as needed.
Qualifications / Experience :
- Inventory Systems
- Ticketing Systems
- Prior corporate AV experience
- Prior experience with Google Meet and equipment/peripherals
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and fixing AV equipment
- Equipment installation experience is preferred
- Experience facilitating teams and workflows preferred
- Demonstrated experience working independently and with diverse groups
- Dependable -- Punctual, Detail-oriented, and Proactive
Experience:
- Windows: 3 years (Preferred)
- Hardware/Software break-fix: 3 years (Preferred)
- Mac OS: 3 years (Preferred)
- Help desk: 2 years (Required)
- AV ops/events: 1-2 years (Required)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
