PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN LONG TERM CARE SETTING REQUIRED
MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Must be available to work morning or afternoon/evening shifts
MUST BE AVAILABLE EVERY OTHER WEEKEND
- Serve Meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
- Assist in serving meals as necessary, observing sanitation/safety requirements.
- Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
- Assist in daily cleaning duties.
- Clean work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.
- Sweep and mop floors as directed.
- Clean dirty dishes, utensils, pot, pans etc.
- Return clean items back to proper storage areas.
- Follow established cooking guidelines.
- Obtain food supplies for next meal.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Works in well light areas.
- Subject to frequent interruptions.
- Subject to upset residents.
- Works beyond normal duty hours as needed.
- Subject to call-back during emergency conditions.
- Attends and participates in continuing education programs.
- Subject to sudden temperature changes.
