Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate activities for school-age children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and monitor children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Foster positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates on their child's progress
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in children
- Collaborate with other daycare teachers to ensure a cohesive learning experience for all children
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a daycare or similar childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- First aid and CPR certification required (will be offered as training if needed)
- Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
- Ability to multitask and handle the demands of caring for multiple children at once
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
