Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely and correct food service delivery
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including basic food handling and operating kitchen equipment to support smooth kitchen operations
- Engage customers through upselling techniques to enhance their experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation standards, including bussing tables and cleaning food prep areas
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy
- Support food safety management practices by adhering to proper sanitation protocols and food safety guidelines
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Strong sales ability with a focus on upselling and enhancing customer satisfaction
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Retail math proficiency for processing transactions accurately and managing cash register operations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that promotes positive interactions
- Experience in cashiering, grocery store operations, or retail sales transactions is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
