Overview
We are seeking a Videographer, Editor & Social Media Assistant Manager to join our construction business. Must have your own camera, computer, and software. Pay range based on experience. Must have experience in editing professional video footage. This is a 1099 contract position. We will supply you a list of jobs we want recorded and you make it happen.
Duties
- Shoot, and edit pictures and video content that aligns with brand.
- Manage all aspects of post-production including audio editing and visual effects to ensure polished final products.
- You will be the main social media content creator. Upload photos and videos to Youtube, Instagram, and Faceboook.
- Monitor social accounts and moderate content.
- Implement videos according to manager's timeline.
- This is a construction company, you will be required to perform recordings in the field and at the warehouse/workshop. Be prepared to get a little dirty.
Requirements
- Have editing ability and prove it by submitting your content with the application.
- Strong skills in audio editing.
- Have your own camera, computer, and software.
- Ability to film on location or in studio environments while being exposed to construction environments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to learn Google Suite (drive, sheets etc) for basic communication.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to commute to Carnesville, GA by 6:30AM 2-3 days a week for a free ride to jobsites in Atlanta, or meet at jobsites in Atlanta area by 8AM.
Sample schedule:
Monday: Meet at shop at 6:30 (or be onsite by 8). Setup outside to record a days worth of excavating a foundation to install a drain.
Tuesday: Meet at shop at 6:30 (or be onsite by 8). Setup time lapse recording for a 2' tall crawlspace. Crawl around and get photos inside the crawl space after work is done.
Wednesday: Meet at shop at 6:30 (or be onsite by 8). Record a video of foundation repair.
Thursday / Friday: Work from home. Edit videos, upload content, attend weekly zoom check in.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
