Position: CNC Set-up Machinist /Programmer
Hours: 5:00am-1:30pm
Days: Monday - Friday
Base salary: $30 - $40 Negotiable based on experience
CNC Programmer – 5-10 years experience programming. 3 and 4 axis programming. Experience with CNC Lathes. Willing to learn 5 axis. Willing to program and setup and operate when things get busy.
- Program Development: Write, test, and optimize CAM/CNC programs for 3, 4, or 5-axis machines.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze technical drawings, CAD models, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Tooling & Setup:
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine speeds/feeds
- Troubleshooting: Debug and edit programs to correct errors, optimize cycle times, and resolve production issues.
- Quality Control: Perform first-article inspection to ensure parts meet specifications.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
