Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Senior Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and mechanical systems across a variety of light commercial and residential systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety compliance. Responsibilities
- Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and HVAC design plans to accurately troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to maximize efficiency and lifespan while minimizing downtime.
- Repair and maintain
- Ensure compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants safely and maintaining proper documentation for refrigerant recovery and disposal.
- Operate a vehicle safely for field service calls while managing multiple service appointments efficiently.
- Collaborate with clients to explain system issues clearly and recommend effective repair or upgrade solutions.
- Maintain detailed service reports, logs, and documentation of all work performed for accountability and future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems with a strong background in mechanical systems repair.
- Extensive field service experience working on HVAC systems in residential settings.
- Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles
- Familiarity with appliance repair and general maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R equipment is a plus.
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications such as HVAC or mechanical licenses are advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with equipment repair—using tools like ohmmeters—and mechanical systems troubleshooting skills.
- Driver’s license with a clean record is essential for timely field service deployment.

Pay: $27.86 - $33.55 per hour
