Join our dynamic team at Grade Burrito in Freeport! You will deliver exceptional food service experiences by, managing customer transactions. Base pay is 18 per hour, 22-28 per hour including tip out
Duties
- Prepare alcoholic drink items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate a POS system to process orders, payments, and refunds efficiently
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Run food to guests as it becomes ready
- Support team members in food preparation, stocking supplies, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Square is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Experience with cashiering, serving, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.14 per hour
