The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on both automated and manual manufacturing equipment used in the production of hose clamps, including general production machinery and tool and die equipment, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
This role includes troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and installing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components on automated, semi-automated, and manual machines, as well as supporting continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance. In addition to production equipment maintenance, the technician is expected to support plant and facility projects, including but not limited to HVAC systems, basic electrical distribution, plumbing, carpentry, structural repairs, and general building maintenance, while complying with all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
The position requires strong technical aptitude, the ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation, effective problem-solving skills, and the flexibility to support production and facility needs as required, with the requirement that the successful candidate must pass a qualification test.
Shift: M-F, plus voluntary weekends/daily overtime. Night Shift- 11pm-7am
Teamsters Union Position:
$31.70hr. starting rate. 4% pay increase to $32.97 on 9/1/26.
$0.65 per hr. shift differential for night shift.
Pay: $31.70 - $32.97 per hour
