General Manager – Don Churro Food Truck
Don Churro is looking for a motivated, reliable, and hands-on General Manager to lead the daily operations of our churro and ice cream food truck.
We are a growing, family-owned local business specializing in fresh churros, soft-serve ice cream, churro sundaes, ice cream-filled churros, aguas frescas, Mexican iced coffee, and private event catering.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, go-getter, and natural leader with strong hospitality experience, food truck or event experience, and the ability to run operations with confidence and professionalism.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating the food truck at events, markets, and private catering jobs
- Managing daily inventory, supplies, and restocking needs
- Preparing food and beverages according to Don Churro standards
- Providing excellent customer service and creating a great guest experience
- Managing event setup, service flow, and closing procedures
- Maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and organization inside the truck
- Helping train and lead team members during busy service periods
- Communicating with ownership about sales, inventory, staffing, and operational needs
- Representing Don Churro professionally at all events and locations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hospitality, restaurant, food service, or event experience
- Previous food truck and/or event experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Comfortable driving and operating a food truck
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organized, responsible, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and solution-oriented
- Spanish is a plus, but not required

Compensation:
