About This Role
We're looking for a dedicated and caring Infant Teacher to join our team at VIP Child Development Center. This role involves working with infants from 6 weeks to 12 months, supporting their growth and development, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional care to infants in our licensed childcare setting, adhering to state regulations and center policies.

Develop and implement tailored activities that foster the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child.

Track and document developmental progress and daily routines, providing detailed updates to parents.

Ensure a spotless, safe, and organized classroom space that promotes a sense of wonder and curiosity.

Nurture open communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's daily experiences and progress.

Maintain impeccable health and safety standards, adhering to sanitation and hygiene best practices.

Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with colleagues to achieve a positive and professional work culture.

Attend scheduled staff meetings, training sessions, and certification programs to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date.
Requirements
Qualifications:

Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred.

Must meet state licensing requirements for background checks and clearances.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage in active play.

CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
