Job Description
Job Summary
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing various patient registration, scheduling, and admission functions to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience at Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Key Responsibilities
Processes appointment requests for all types of outpatient appointments for new and established patients
Obtains patient consents
Performs registration of patients
Completes verification of insurance prior to patient arrival for services
Identifies uninsured patients to perform financial counseling
Assists with completing applications for external sources

The pay range for this position is $24.16 - $36.23. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
