POSITION SUMMARY
The Blaster/Painter is responsible for performing labor tasks utilizing blasting equipment in preparing company products for painting/coating and preparing/mixing paints, as well as applying to the product per customer specification.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform pre-inspection on any blasting or painting equipment before operating

Prepare equipment, materials and area around before starting blasting or painting activities

Blast or paint according to customer specifications

Keep paint, blasting and other tools in good working order

Inspect all equipment used, perform minor repairs and clean equipment as well as the work area

Obey and follow all safety rules and policies
-
Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)

Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent education
-
1+ year of blasting/painting experience in an industrial setting
-
Basic written and verbal skills
-
Ability to perform work accurately
-
Must be reliable and have good time management skills

For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
