Overview
HiLine Sports Construction is seeking dependable, hardworking Crew Members to help build athletic facilities at schools, parks, colleges, and sports complexes throughout the Southeast. Projects include installing netting systems, backstops, scoreboards, batting cages, football goal posts, shade structures, and other specialty sports equipment.
This is a hands-on position that requires working outdoors, traveling to job sites, operating tools and equipment, and working as part of a small, professional crew. Every project is different, offering opportunities to learn new skills and take pride in building facilities that athletes and communities will enjoy for years.
The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, enjoys physical work, is comfortable traveling, and values teamwork and safety. Construction experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with the right attitude.
Responsibilities
- Install athletic facility equipment including netting systems, backstops, scoreboards, batting cages, goal posts, shade structures, and related sports infrastructure.
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment for each project.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, skid steers, and other construction equipment (training provided as needed).
- Assist with site layout, digging, concrete work, steel installation, rigging, and final assembly.
- Read and follow project plans, installation drawings, and supervisor instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site while following company safety policies.
- Travel to project sites throughout the Southeast and work with overnight stays as required.
- Work effectively as part of a small team to complete projects on schedule and to a high standard of quality.
- Perform general construction tasks and assist with other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout the Southeast for multi-day projects.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.
- Comfortable working at heights and operating from aerial lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions.
- Commitment to safe work practices and attention to detail.
- Basic experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Construction, steel erection, fencing, playground, or related trade experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check (if applicable).

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
