We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and introducing daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to any requests or concerns.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and menu items is beneficial for effective communication with both guests and kitchen staff.
