We are currently seeking an Dental Assistant that is confident in their and ability to perform all aspects of being a surgical assistant.
It is helpful if the Applicant is familiar with PRF, IV SED protocols, and educating the patient on their treatment needs.
We are NOT open to training basic and the quality of taking radiographs. You MUST be able to recognize a quality x-ray, and be able to take vertical BW'S, and dental CT scans.

What We Offer:
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- Patient hours: Monday and Wednesday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (subject to variation). Days and hours will be discussed- as this is a PART TIME POSITION.

- Organized, coachable, and skilled at both direct and indirect patient care.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients to the office and ensure they feel comfortable.
- Prepare patients for scheduled procedures.
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials for various procedures.
- Sterilize instruments according to safety regulations.
- Assist the doctor(s) with 4-6 handed dentistry.
- Perform lab tasks as directed.
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked dental room.
- Participate in daily morning huddles.
- Monitor oral sedation patients as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow up with general dentists.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a dental assistant.
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques.
- Understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Skilled in taking x-rays and impressions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to stay self-motivated.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Experience with Open Dental software is a plus.
- High school diploma required; dental assistant certification preferred.
- Additional certifications (EFDA, etc.) are a plus.
- Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
