ROLE OVERVIEW
Our Survey Division is seeking a Licensed Professional Surveyor to join our team in Charleston or Beckley, WV. In this role, you will lead the surveying and geomatics department, manage projects for public and private sector clients, and play a key part in growing the practice from inception to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all aspects of the surveying and geomatics department, including multiple field crews and supporting technical staff
- Manage survey and geomatics projects for public and private sector clients
- Identify and develop business opportunities with new and existing clients
- Maintain communication with key staff and offices to ensure department success and sustainability
- Plan, organize, supervise, and mentor survey crews, technicians, and internal staff
- Coordinate assignments to support project management and deadline adherence
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Licensure: Active Professional Surveyor (PS) license in the State of West Virginia required
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
Equipment: Experience with Trimble equipment preferred
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a team, mentor staff, and manage multiple crews
Project management: Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and manage projects across varying scopes
Time management: Strong time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines
Work style: High productivity working both independently and collaboratively
