Join our dynamic dental team as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant and play a vital role in creating beautiful, confident smiles! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with orthodontists and patients, providing exceptional chairside support and ensuring smooth clinic operations. You'll be instrumental in delivering top-quality orthodontic care while maintaining a lively, positive environment that encourages growth and excellence.
Duties
- Assist orthodontists during various procedures, including bracket placement, wire adjustments, and appliance fittings, ensuring precision and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment such as 3D scanners and medical imaging devices.
- Take dental X-rays while adhering to strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Educate patients on orthodontic care instructions, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene practices tailored for pediatric dentistry.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment while following HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Experience preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
