Duties
- Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments during grooming sessions, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
- Perform pet bathing, brushing, drying, coat styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming services with precision and care
- Assist with animal restraint techniques to ensure safe grooming practices for pets and staff
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and pet behavior
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Support veterinary staff with basic animal care tasks such as handling animals during examinations or procedures when needed
- Handle kennel cleaning and maintain a tidy workspace to promote a safe environment for animals and staff
- Bathing, Drying and brushing of dogs

- Cleaning through out the day along with assisting with deep clean at end of every shift
- Assisting others when needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred; familiarity with dog training or veterinary technician experience is a plus
- Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet coat styling is essential for safe grooming practices
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with pet owners and team members
- Ability to lift heavy loads (heavy lifting) when necessary for equipment or animal handling
- Experience with customer service in a pet care setting is desirable to ensure positive client interactions
- Basic understanding of veterinary or veterinary assistant procedures is advantageous but not required
- Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday while maintaining a lively attitude

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
