What you’ll bring:
- Active Special Education teaching credential or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience (practicum or professional) working with elementary and/or middle school-aged students
- Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, families, and paraprofessionals
- Adaptability and creativity in modifying curriculum to support diverse learning needs
- A positive, student-centered approach to classroom management
In this role, you will:
- Deliver engaging instruction to students with mild disabilities in a supportive environment
- Coordinate with paraprofessionals who assist in maintaining a nurturing classroom climate
- Differentiate instruction based on individual student goals and needs
