An exciting opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential support to students across elementary, middle, and potentially PreK-12th grades in a dynamic school setting near Pontiac, MI. This contract role offers flexibility in scheduling within standard school hours and the chance to serve a diverse student population. Two onsite positions are open for the 2026–2027 school year, with possible extension into the 2025–2026 ESY.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Active Michigan licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (please submit a screenshot of your license upon application).
- Experience working in school settings with PreK-12th grade students preferred.
- Ability to manage a full SLP caseload independently, including assessment, therapy, documentation, and collaboration.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services, including assessment, intervention, and ongoing support, for students from preschool through high school.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success and carry out IEP goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Participate in student support meetings and multidisciplinary teams as needed.
