We are a locally owned bakery specializing in homemade pies, cookies, quiche, and seasonal baked goods. We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented team member to join our bakery family on a part-time basis.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys baking, takes pride in producing high-quality products, and is comfortable helping customers while maintaining a clean and welcoming bakery environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake pies, cookies, quiche, and seasonal bakery items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist with daily bakery production and preparation
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Operate the point-of-sale system and cash register
- Accurately process customer transactions
- Restock displays and maintain an attractive sales area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Perform daily cleaning and closing duties
- Assist with general bakery operations as needed
- Weekend availability
Qualifications
- Previous baking experience required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Friendly and professional attitude with customers and coworkers
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
