The Role
The Provider Engagement Specialist builds trusted relationships with healthcare providers and expands awareness of WEconnect's services across the United States.
This role combines provider partnership development, educational outreach, relationship management, and account management to increase provider engagement and member enrollment. Through regional roadshows, provider meetings, educational presentations, and ongoing follow-up, you'll help healthcare providers connect eligible members with WEconnect's peer support services, expanding access to care while improving health outcomes.
As business priorities evolve, this role will also support employer account renewals, strengthen existing client relationships, and help ensure long-term partnership success.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, provider relations, healthcare partnerships, business development, or a related field.
- Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience using CRM platforms and Google Workspace.
- Willingness and ability to travel overnight approximately 50–75% of the time.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel by car and air throughout the United States.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvider Partnership Development
- Represent WEconnect during regional roadshows markets across the United States.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with behavioral health providers, treatment centers, outpatient programs, and healthcare organizations.
- Introduce providers to WEconnect's services and demonstrate how peer support can improve patient outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to expand provider engagement and increase member participation.
Provider Education & Engagement
- Schedule and deliver virtual and in-person presentations to provider organizations and clinical teams.
- Coordinate educational events, including lunch-and-learn sessions, to increase awareness and adoption of WEconnect services.
- Partner with Peer Support Specialists to provide both clinical and lived-experience perspectives during presentations.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for providers regarding WEconnect services and eligible health plan benefits.
Relationship Management
- Own provider relationships from initial outreach through ongoing engagement.
- Independently manage follow-up activities following provider visits, presentations, and roadshows.
- Maintain consistent communication with provider partners to encourage continued referrals and member engagement.
- Support employer account renewals and ongoing relationship management as business priorities evolve.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation, provider activity, and engagement tracking.
- Coordinate effectively with Sales, Client Success, Outreach, and Peer Support teams to deliver a seamless provider experience.
- Share provider insights, market feedback, and partnership opportunities with internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong organization and accountability while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
