3rd Shift: 10PM - 6AM
Job Summary:
The Boxer/Loader/Packer is responsible for efficiently preparing, packaging, and loading finished printed materials for shipment or storage. This role is essential to maintaining smooth workflow in the production area and ensuring products meet quality and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Box and package printed products according to job specifications and customer requirements.
- Accurately label, seal, and stack finished goods on pallets for shipment.
- Load and unload materials, cartons, and pallets using manual or powered equipment (if trained/certified).
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and count accuracy before packing.
- Keep workstations clean and organized, following safety and housekeeping standards.
- Communicate with press operators, supervisors, and quality control personnel to ensure smooth production flow.
- Complete production documentation and packing lists accurately.
- Assist in inventory tracking and supply restocking as needed.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Willingness to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
