Job Summary:
Banquet set up personnel are responsible for various tasks such as setting up portable bars, refilling water stations, and cleaning event rooms according to specifications. They also set tables, arrange buffets, and ensure cleanliness of banquet facilities. Their duties extend to providing excellent customer service, coordinating breakdown of meeting rooms, and executing synchronized service during events. They also have knowledge of setting up audio visual equipment, and arranging meeting rooms for optimal customer experience.

Responsibilities:
-
Setup/tear down, maintain and refresh meeting rooms and event venues according to BEOs. Ensuring set up and break downs are done completely, accurately, safely and efficiently according to company policies. Performs other duties as requested.

Must be able to read the BEOs and stay organized to ensure events are set in a timely manner.

Must have an eye for detail.

Ensures cleanliness and organization is done efficiently.

Arrange buffets, stages and podiums, audio visual etc.

Set up food stations, buffets, cocktail hours, dessert tables.

Work closely with the banquet captain and banquet staff to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently.

Exhibit teamwork and leadership to ensure that the event is setup in an efficient manner.

Complete the physical set up, cleaning and arrangement of tables & equipment according to BEO.

Set up tables, chairs, linens and av equipment for all events.

Help banquet staff complete their tasks, which include: arranging plates, running the bars, and setting up beverage stations.
