DSD Route Relief Driver– Rudi’s Organic and Gluten Free Brands
Since 1976, Rudi’s is an iconic brand that specializes in delicious organic and gluten breads, buns, English muffins, and tortillas. The next stage of Rudi’s growth is to leverage our baking heritage by introducing value-added frozen products that have our spectacular breads as the base.

The DSD Route Relief will be responsible for: DSD Route Sales Reps Absence Coverage & On-call coverage.
This position reports to Rudi’s DSD Supervisor and is part of the Sales Organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Early morning and afternoon truck loading and inventory accounting.
· Safe driving to and between designated stops.
· Store level execution: process invoices, rotate and stock bread, process returns.
· Always maintain a fresh and adequate supply of authorized products in approved customers on a designated coverage route.
· Extensive interaction with customers to maintain a business relationship.
· Execution of marketing, promotion, new item initiates and special projects.
· Reporting food safety and quality issues and initiating action as necessary.
- Performing additional duties that promote the success of the DSD team or any other tasks as directed by the Route Supervisor or DSD Sales Director.
Job Requirements:
· Minimum HS graduate or equivalent.
· Minimum one year in high paced retail, a small truck delivery environment or Direct Store Delivery.
· Ability to perform an extensive amount of driving, repetitive bending, kneeling, stretching, climbing, stacking and the lifting of (up to 50 pounds) plastic basket trays from route truck to retailer and back.
· Must have a valid driver license and maintain a clean driving record.
· Excellent time management.
· Concern for accuracy and quality.
· Ability to be flexible and take proper initiative and be customer focused.
· Ability to follow tactical directions.
