The Stresco Group is seeking a production machinist for a busy small business. Candidate must have experience running CNC mills, lathes and fabrication equipment. Machine set up experience a plus. Daily tasks included but not limited to:
- Run daily production based on work orders and lead times in order to maintain inventory levels
- Setup machines for daily production, ensuring the correct material is being used
- Multitask and run multiple machines simultaneously
- Read blueprints and check parts for accurate measurements
- Debur and assemble parts as needed during machine cycles
Job requirements:
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to lift 40+ lbs. at a time
· Forklift driving experience a plus
· Must be able to bend, lift and stand most of the day
· Maintain a safe and clean work area
