Description:
The SWOG NCORP (NCI National Community Oncology Research Program) grant is a federally funded National Cancer Institute (NCI) award that supports nationwide cancer clinical trials and cancer care delivery research through the SWOG Cancer Research Network. This grant represents a competitive renewal of SWOG’s longstanding NCORP award and is the first time the grant is directly awarded to The Hope Foundation, reflecting an expanded leadership and administrative role in managing large-scale federal cooperative agreements. The Sponsored Programs Administrator will lead administrative management for the NCORP grant, communicate/interact with DHHS/NIH systems, and collaborate with the Foundation’s Finance team.
Accountability: The Sponsored Programs Administrator reports to the Director of Grants and Contracts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Monitor spending for the Hope-NOC
· Create and manage financial project accounts
· Produce financial reports and forecasts
· Assist with annual financial audits
· Handle Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) reporting on subawardees
· Draw down funding through the DHHS Payment Management System
· Prepare progress reports (RPPR) and Final Financial Reports (FFR)
· Complete carryover or supplement requests in eRA Commons
· Maintain Human Subjects Study Records for SWOG NCORP studies
· Create records for new studies
· Update existing records to match each study’s ClinicalTrials.gov entry
· Track and list current actual enrollment in inclusion tables· Perform other assigned tasks
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in a field that is directly related to the duties of the position, Master's degree preferred.
· Seven years of research administration with grants and contracts. Substantial direct federal grant experience is required
· Demonstrated knowledge of federal grants administration, including NIH/NCI policies, cooperative agreements, and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200)
· Proven ability to manage post‑award lifecycle activities for complex, multi‑year grants, including budgeting, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring compliance
· Experience supporting large, multi‑site research programs, with responsibility for subaward coordination and oversight
· Strong commitment to financial stewardship, accuracy, and accountability in support of the Foundation’s mission. Familiarity with Sage Intacct a plus.
· Ability to prepare and coordinate federal reports, renewals, and audit materials in collaboration with internal and external partners
· Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and deadlines
· Effective written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across scientific, financial, and administrative teams

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
