Diversified Labeling Solutions, Inc. (DLS) is looking for an experienced Warehouse & Shipping Manager to lead and manage our plant level shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
As a key member of the plant management team, this role is critical to ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment, maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring effective practices are in place to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on leadership for all warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory activities, working alongside team members as needed to support daily operations and achieve performance objectives.
- Direct and oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop warehouse personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient processing of all inbound and outbound shipments while maintaining compliance with company procedures and customer requirements.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through effective inventory control practices, cycle counts, transaction audits, and process discipline.
- Establish and maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure customer expectations and operational priorities are met.
- Track departmental performance metrics and take appropriate corrective action to meet operational and service goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, productivity, inventory accuracy, and service performance.
- Promote and enforce Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) policies, ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years warehouse, shipping, and inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, and material handling processes, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold employees accountable while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Comfortable serving as a hands-on leader who is willing and able to work alongside team members, as business demands require
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members of all levels.
- Experience operating forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, with forklift certification, or the ability to obtain certification, required.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, and material handling for extended periods of time.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, warehouse management tools, Microsoft Office applications, and other business software used to support warehouse operations and inventory management.

Pay: $78,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
