Position: Manufacturing Engineer

Company Overview:
Cyclone Technology is a growing, privately owned company that designs and manufactures high-pressure hot water cleaning machines for specialized surface cleaning applications. Its equipment is used for airfield surface cleaning, rubber removal, and general concrete surface cleaning. The company serves a global customer base that includes airports, municipalities, and surface maintenance contractors.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience, ideally in heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial machinery.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks), MRP systems and MS office Suite.
Deep understanding of welding and manual machining methods.
Thorough understanding of automotive wiring, industrial hydraulic systems and general machinery knowledge
Knowledge of Bills of Materials ( Make, Buy, Phantom, Subcontract, etc.), BOM structure for manufacturing and kitting procedures for production.
Personal Skills: Looking for a high-energy person with great communication skills that can work as a team.
Responsibilities:
Process Development: Build and test assembly procedures for heavy structural weldments, large hydraulic systems, and drivetrain components.
Documentation: Write clear standard operating procedures (SOPs), assembly instructions, and safety instructions.
Tooling & Fixture Design: Design custom fabrication, assembly jigs and procedures for use
Shop Equipment: Lead the purchase, installation, and testing of new factory machinery/tools. Head the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment on site.
Continuous Improvement: Work with design engineering and production staff to reduce waste and time involved in production.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Design Engineering for manufacturability feedback and work closely with shop-floor operators to resolve build issues.
Procurement: Assist purchasing in finding suppliers who can deliver the best value, lead-time and quality. Assist in maintaining those relationships.
Competitive – Compensation
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
