Job Summary
We are seeking a vibrant, organized, and hospitality-driven Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead our service team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. In this role, you will oversee daily floor operations, manage and motivate FOH staff (hosts, servers, bartenders, and busses), and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise all FOH staff. Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and motivation to build a positive, cohesive team culture.
- Guest Relations: Maintain a strong floor presence during peak hours to greet guests, monitor service pace, and build relationships. Tactfully and professionally resolve customer complaints or feedback to ensure repeat business.
- Daily Operations: Oversee the opening and closing procedures, cash handling, drawer reconciliations, and daily shift reports. Ensure the dining room, bar, and host stations are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Financial & Inventory Control: Manage labor costs by adjusting staffing levels based on volume. Assist with inventory management, ordering FOH supplies, and monitoring beverage/bar costs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Kitchen Manager / Back of House (BOH) team to ensure smooth communication, synchronized ticket times, and seamless execution of menu items.
- Compliance: Enforce all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations (e.g., TIPS/ServSafe certification standards).
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as an FOH Manager, Shift Supervisor, or Assistant Manager in a full-service restaurant.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, delegate, and inspire a diverse team under pressure.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for conflict resolution.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems (e.g., Toast, Aloha), reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable, Resy), and scheduling software.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
