Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including preparing materials and tools for daily tasks
- Operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and concrete pumps safely and effectively
- Support the installation of rebar, formwork, and framing according to blueprint specifications
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and caulking to ensure smooth surfaces and durable structures
- Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to execute tasks accurately
- Carry out heavy lifting and material handling to support various phases of construction projects
- Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site
Requirements
- Previous experience working on construction sites or in related trades is highly preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
- Knowledge of heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and power tools is desirable
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans with confidence
- Skills in masonry, tile laying, flooring installation, stucco application, or trim carpentry are a plus
- Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights if necessary
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills and supporting team members
