Overview
YIH Brooklyn is part of YIH, an international Taiwanese food brand, operating as a fast-paced quick-service restaurant. The restaurant is focused on friendly service, accurate orders, speed, cleanliness, and consistent food quality. Crew Members support guests, prepare and package orders, keep the service area organized, and work as part of a positive team.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously; take orders clearly at the counter, phone, kiosk support area, or delivery platform as needed.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS, confirm modifications and allergies, and repeat orders back before payment.
- Prepare, assemble, package, and hand off food and beverages according to standards for quality, portioning, presentation, and speed.
- Monitor dine-in, takeout, mobile, and third-party delivery orders to ensure accuracy and timely pickup.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service team members during peak periods to keep the line moving and reduce guest wait times.
- Answer guest questions professionally and provide accurate information on menu items, pricing, promotions, hours, and policies.
- Stock supplies, condiments, packaging, napkins, utensils, and beverage stations throughout the shift.
- Keep the counter, dining area, restrooms, equipment, and service stations clean, sanitized, and guest-ready.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and company procedures.
- Complete assigned closing and cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing stations, removing trash, and restocking.
Requirements:
- Previous fast-food, quick-service, cashier, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately while multitasking in a busy environment.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and team-oriented mindset.
- Availability for weekday, weekend, daytime, and evening shifts.
- Experience in using a POS system and delivery tablets/platforms preferred.

Pay: $23.69 - $28.53 per hour
