About Us
Circle Hospitality Group is launching a new Asian-inspired bakery in Koreatown, NYC. We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Baker to help execute daily production and ensure high-quality baked goods for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily baking production following established recipes and standards.
- Prepare and bake a variety of Asian-inspired breads, pastries, and desserts.
- Maintain consistency in product quality, taste, and presentation.
- Manage time effectively to execute baking rounds efficiently and meet daily production deadlines.
- Assist with prep, portioning, and packaging baked goods.
- Maintain clear communication with the Head Baker and culinary team to ensure consistency and smooth production flow.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the Head Baker and culinary team to meet production goals, especially in high-volume production settings.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional bread baking experience required.
- Previous professional baking or pastry experience preferred (1–2+ years).
- Experience in high-volume production environments preferred.
- Experience working with deck ovens preferred.
- Familiarity or interest in Asian-style baking is a strong plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to execute baking rounds efficiently.
- Clear communication skills and a commitment to consistency and quality.
- Open availability to work early mornings and/or weekends, including holidays as needed.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Compensation & Growth
- $17/hour, with opportunities for growth within the bakery and the broader Circle Hospitality Group.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
