Job Overview
YOTTOY Productions, Inc., known for exceptional toys, books, and bespoke gifts, is seeking a collaborative and customer-focused individual to join our team as Sales & Customer Relations Specialist. This role is primarily a liaison between customers, sales representatives, and our internal marketing and fulfillment teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a genuine desire to create positive experiences for others are essential.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day interaction with customers, sales reps, and fulfillment associates, working within a team to promote sales & provide customer service to specialty wholesale customers
- Set up new customer accounts, review incoming orders, and direct warehouse team in order processing
- Facilitate timely order fulfillment with clear communication to customer & warehouse team, including order status, payment info and ship details
- Maintain current customer and prospective customer lists
- Complete item set-up forms for key retailers
- Monitor and analyze Amazon and other online sellers
- Align sales data to commission reports
- Provide sales tools to support sales reps, and interact with sales reps to inform current promotions, trade shows, new product intros, stock levels to provide stock forecasts
- Coordinate sales marketing materials; and provide administrative support
- Participate in virtual sales presentations & in-person trade shows
- Review sales reports and monitor inventory stock levels
- Explore sales leads and activate new channels to increase brand awareness and sales
- Issue purchase orders and track status
- Participate in design, product development, and marketing team meetings
- Field incoming phone queries and direct to appropriate party
Specific Skills/Requirements
- Associate’s degree / Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in marketing, sales, or customer service
- The ideal candidate has excellent verbal & written communication skills, is self-motivated, highly organized, detailed oriented, personable, and enjoys working with positive solution-minded team members
- Flexible in fast-paced environment
- Experience/interest in children’s toys or publishing a plus
This is a full-time, salaried, in-person position based in YOTTOY’s midtown Manhattan showroom and headquarters.
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
