Overview
We're looking for a licensed cosmetologist who is passionate about leadership, enjoys working behind the chair, and is ready to inspire and develop a team.
As a Salon Manager, you'll lead by example, coach and support your team, and help create a positive, high-energy salon environment while continuing to build your own clientele.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the salon to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Coach, motivate, and develop a team of stylists through ongoing training and feedback.
- Build schedules that support business needs while fostering a positive team culture.
- Drive salon performance by achieving service, retail, and productivity goals.
- Monitor payroll, inventory, and operating expenses to help meet business objectives.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members.
- Ensure company policies, operational standards, and cleanliness expectations are consistently met.
- Participate in local marketing and community outreach initiatives to grow the business.
- Maintain accurate salon records and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Continue providing outstanding salon services and building your personal clientele.
Skills
- Valid CT cosmetology license
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and developing others
