About the Role
The Town of Mooresville is seeking a skilled Sanitation Equipment Operator I to operate large sanitation packer trucks along assigned residential routes for the collection of trash, recyclables, limbs, leaves, and other yard waste. This position serves as a lead worker on assigned routes, helping ensure crew safety, service quality, and efficient daily operations.
The ideal candidate is experienced in operating large vehicles in tight or congested spaces and understands the physical and safety demands of sanitation work. This role involves working in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions and requires attention to safety, teamwork, and customer service.
