Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces as needed
- Execute detailed cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care to uphold high standards of sanitation and appearance
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care
- Manage household chores such as organizing supplies, restocking essentials, and maintaining cleanliness in all areas
- Assist with light cooking duties or meal preparation when required to support household needs
- Safely perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, appliances or supplies while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and ensuring proper waste disposal in compliance with health regulations
- Conduct outdoor work including gardening or yard maintenance if applicable to the residence
- Support housekeeping management by following schedules and reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a focus on detailed cleanliness and organization
- Strong knowledge of janitorial practices, sanitation procedures, and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and commercial cleaning methods
- Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently
- Outstanding customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and address their specific needs
- Ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated schedules without compromising quality
- Experience in laundry services and custodial work with attention to detail
- Knowledge of outdoor work routines such as yard work or outdoor cleaning tasks preferred
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or residential cleaning services highly desirable
