Union Tile Setter – Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter to join our team. This is a union position, offering excellent pay and a full benefits package. You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing tile with precision, preparing surfaces, and collaborating with clients and site supervisors to bring each project to life — all while upholding safety standards and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure, cut, and install tile on floors, walls, backsplashes, and other surfaces
- Prepare substrates by cleaning, leveling, and applying underlayment
- Mix and apply adhesives and grout, ensuring proper spacing and alignment
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working order
Qualifications
- Current union membership or willingness to join BAC/Tile Layers Local
- 5 + years as a Journeyman
- Must live in the Ann Arbor Area
- Strong understanding of tile materials, tools, and layout techniques
- Physically able to lift materials and work on your feet for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (as required)
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $17.00 - $36.78 per hour
