Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Use specialized cleaning equipment such as vacuums, and commercial mops, and scrubbers to achieve optimal cleanliness standards.
- Conduct detailed floor care procedures, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain high-quality flooring appearances.
- Handle janitorial tasks with precision—restocking supplies, emptying trash receptacles, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Maintain safety protocols at all times while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Document completed tasks and report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work; prior custodial experience is highly valued.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and climbing ladders safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
