Sensationally Thriving is seeking a compassionate, relationship-centered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide pediatric services for neurodiverse children and their families. We value developmental, play-based intervention grounded in DIR®Floortime and sensory-informed practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide OT services in home and community settings
- Implement individualized, relationship-based treatment plans
- Support sensory processing, emotional regulation, motor, executive functioning, and daily living skills
- Coach caregivers to carry strategies into daily routines
- Complete timely documentation
- Collaborate with the therapy team as needed
Qualifications
- Active Texas COTA license
- Pediatric experience required
- DIRFloortime training or experience preferred
- Experience with autistic children and other neurodiverse populations
- Strong communication, independence, and family coaching skills
