Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Plumbing Installer to oversee and execute complex plumbing installations on commercial and residential construction sites. This includes removing, laying out, assembling, pipefitting, administering tests, and repairing piping and fixtures. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of skilled plumbers, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Lead and coordinate plumbing installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
- Supervise and mentor a team of plumbers and apprentices, providing guidance on best practices, safety procedures, and technical challenges.
- Perform construction estimating tasks related to plumbing materials, labor, and project timelines to support project planning.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools necessary for installation tasks.
- Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks required for pipe installation, remodeling projects, or maintenance work on-site.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Skills
- Strong background in construction estimating, site management, and field service operations.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and assembly devices.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and project planning.
- Experience with heavy lifting
- Familiarity with schematics related to plumbing systems.
