We are seeking an energetic and fun ABA Behavioral Therapists to take on cases in our South OC area. Looking for a Spanish speaking BT with availability to fill the below schedule. - Schedule A: 18hrs/wk
- Monday: 3-5 pm, Ladera Ranch, 92694; 5:30-7:30 pm, Lake Forest, 92630
- Tuesday: 2-4 pm, San Juan Capistrano, 92675; 5:30-7:30 pm, Lake Forest, 92630
- Wednesday: 3:30-5:30 pm, San Juan Capistrano, 92675; 6-8 pm, Lake Forest, 92630
- Thursday: 5:30-7:30 pm, San Juan Capisrano, 92675
- Friday: 3:30-7:30 pm, San Juan Capistrano, 92675
All sessions are conducted in the learner's home, school or out in the community. Mileage is reimbursed. This position requires obtaining your RBT Certification through the company within 90 days. You will also receive a $2 raise once certification is achieved.
Job Description
- Teach critical skills to students on a one-on-one basis using behavior analysis (training provided)
- Provide support during social interactions between peers
- Teach a variety of skills, depending on the needs of our clients. For example: letter ID, shape ID, matching,
- personal information questions, body language, sarcasm, social skills, etc.
- Collect and graph data
- Communicate clearly with parents using both written and verbal formats
- Learn to manage challenging behavior
Minimum Qualifications:
- Spanish speaking a plus
- 1 yr Volunteer or work experience with children on the Autism Spectrum
- Detail oriented
- Openess to feedback
- Dependable/reliable/professional
- Must enjoy and care about our clients
- Must be comfortable with challenging/aggressive behaviors
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Reliable transportation required as sessions are conducted in-home, school or public location for socialization
