We are a fully digital office using Dentrix Ascend software, digital scanners ( Planmeca) plus AI to better enhance our patient experience.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled FT or PT Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Hours:
M-Th 730-4
Fridays 730-1
NO WEEKENDS
NO EVENINGS
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and hygiene needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care activities in compliance with regulations.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
- Perform medical imaging as required, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Provide pediatric dental care, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
- Utilize Dentrix Ascend for patient management and documentation review.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Monitor vital signs as necessary during patient visits to ensure safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance overall patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
Skills
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and understanding of dental hygiene best practices.
- Strong knowledge of medical records management and documentation review processes.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Experience with medical imaging technologies, particularly in a dental setting.
- Ability to work effectively with pediatric patients, demonstrating patience and understanding.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health practices effectively.
- Competent in monitoring vital signs and recognizing any potential issues during patient visits.
- Experience with Dentrix Ascend software is preferred but not required.
